ENTREPRENEURIAL ATTRIBUTES IN VENEZUELAN MIGRANTS SETTLED IN COLOMBIA

ABSTRACT The study analyzes the entrepreneurial attributes of Venezuelan migrants settled in Gramalote (Norte de Santander Department, Colombia) that explain perception and ability to seize opportunities (as a dependent variable) sociodemographic contextual characteristics (independent variables). research adopted positivist paradigm quantitative approach obtain data from survey conducted with 88 migrants. A bivariate analysis was carried out for processing, categories variables were grouped be treated statistically using multinomial logistic regression. It is recommended public policies on migration inclusion entrepreneurs Colombia consider following attributes: educational level, employment generation, efficiency quality, compliance responsibility, information seeking, support networks since these are associated likelihood capacity business opportunities.
